What is the ReStore?

The ReStore first opened in 1998 with the purpose to help spread the word about the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Pitt County and help raise money to build houses in the area.  That original mission is still being accomplished as the ReStore continues to raise awareness about the work of Habitat for Humanity here in Pitt County.

The ReStore is a non-profit, retail business that utilizes donations from individuals, businesses, manufacturers, major retailers, groups, churches, and civic organizations.  The ReStore receives donations such as furniture, appliances, building materials, and household items almost on a daily basis.  The items are then resold to the general public and the revenues generated are used to help take care of the overhead of Habitat for Humanity in Pitt County, so full concentration is focused on building houses in the area.

What Does the ReStore Sell?

The ReStore sells items such as furniture, appliances, building materials, household items, and much more.

New items are donated every day, so there are great deals to take advantage any day we’re open.  Give us a call or stop to find out more what the ReStore is all about.
