How Can I Donate to Habitat?
The final piece of the puzzle in how Habitat works is through the generous donations of individuals, churches and businesses.
We are in need of donations of both time and money.
Your Time:
- Visit the Volunteer page for more information on volunteering at a construction site or the ReStore.
- Serve on our Board of Directors or one of our committees. Please contact us for more information.
Your Money:
- Write a check to Habitat for Humanity of Pitt Co. Your contribution is tax deductible as Habitat is a 501(c)3 non-profit.
- Sponsor a Habitat Home through your church or place of employment.
- Give real estate, securities, building supplies, services or other tangible contribution.
- Participate in one of our annual fund raising events such as The First Mortgage Corporation Luncheon, Home Run Race, Annual Fund Campaign or Alternative Christmas.
- Make a donation in memory or honor of a loved one.
- Shop at our ReStore for gently used items donated by the community
- Donate your gently used items to our ReStore for resale to help offset our operating costs. Your donation is tax deductible.
